What we collect
Account details (name, email, city, country), phone number, the result of an ID check if one is used (never the ID image), pet details and photos, visit records, messages, reports and incident reports.
Why
To run the service, verify members, prevent fraud and abuse, handle emergencies and incident reports, and meet legal duties.
Who sees what
Other members see your first name, city, verification status, reviews and your pets. Your phone number and your vet’s contact are shown only to the other member during an accepted or active visit, on the emergency screen.
We share data with service providers (hosting, email and SMS delivery, ID verification if used, app stores) only as needed, and with authorities when the law requires.
How long
Until you delete your account. Safety incident records and data needed for legal claims are kept for the period the law requires.
Your rights
Access, correct, export or delete your data. Delete your account in Profile > Delete account, or email hello@tomopaw.com.
Korea (PIPA), EU/UK (GDPR) and California (CCPA) residents have the rights set out in those laws.
